Probate

Bereavement is distressing enough without having to deal with the confusion and stress of the potentially difficult probate procedure.

If a Will has been left, a Grant of Probate may be required. This is a legal document that allows the Executor of the Will to be personally responsible for dealing with and distributing the assets of the deceased as directed in the Will.

If a Will has not been left, you can still apply to the Probate Registry to allow you to deal with the estate. This is where the expert team at Kirkham Legal will help you apply for a Grant of Representation, or Letters of Administration, which, when approved, will allow you to deal with the assets of the deceased.

Many family members find the probate procedure difficult at such an emotional time, or often do not have time to deal with the process. Kirkham Legal has a specialist team ready to assist you.

We are here to help you along every step of the way. For a free initial appointment, give us a call on 0161393 2299 or email either daniel@kirkham-legal.co.uk or kathrynd@kirkham-legal.co.uk. You can also visit us at our offices in Royton, Oldham.
